Words

The word of the day is Phylactery

The word of the week is Pyrrhic.

Bonus points for natural use of either or both words in the course of your activities.

That is all.

So. Do you want to coordinate, or should we just grab words at random and post them as we like?

"At our D&D session this week, we defeated the red dragon and got his treasure -- including that Phylactery of Immortality we needed to complete our quest -- but it was, at best, a pyrrhic victory."

What do I win? ^_^

That was in no way natural. I didn't ask you about your D&D session at all.

I think it works fine without coordination.

(I'm not grabbing words at random! hmmph)

Oh, come on. You know very well that gamers will eagerly volunteer that kind of information unasked!

Ooooh, you have a system? I just find words and decide they're good.

Oh, I didn't say I had a system. I'm just not willing to proclaim that the workings of my mind are genuinely random. There may be a fair amount of emergent chaos, but without a specified distribution I can't honestly claim randomness.
