Anyone else suddenly getting dramatically increased quantities of spam over the last few weeks? I vaguely think it started around the time I read mijven's June 1 entry and signed up for ofoto. I don't want to incriminate them needlessly, though, so I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing the same thing.

Increased SPAM

I'm not sure if my actual spam intake has gone up in the last few weeks, but I've definitely noticed more spam coming through my filters and making it into my inbox in that time. If it's because there's more spam, or because it's cleverer spam, I haven't paid enough attention to my junk mailbox to find out. I didn't sign up for ofoto though...

If so, I'm sorry. My spam intake jumped a few months back (March?) in that more of it started getting through the filter and I noticed the filter was catching more - but ofoto's had my address much longer than that, so I don't have any evidence pointing against them.

Speaking of which, ofoto is not the official repository of kid photos; I just put periodic stuff there for some internet friends (which would be my LJ buddies you don't recognize. ;) I can send you the correct URL, assuming you ever want to see 30 or so new pictures each month (which get put up mostly for far-flung relatives.)

Yeah, send me the link. I don't promise to look at every picture, but it's nice to keep track of the next generation.
