Quae nocent docent

Last week saw a bunch of family that I don't see too often, which provided the opportunity for this. A variety of family members sitting around a table eating dessert, I'm rattling on about something or other, and my 9-year-old cousin V interjects (addressing me), "Do you have an off button?"
